Volunteers at Rejoice Outreach
Everything we do is carried by people who give their time and heart.
Volunteering is a cornerstone of Rejoice Outreach. Our board works entirely voluntarily, and each year volunteers travel to Indonesia to join daily life at the children's home, school and youth work. You don't need to be an expert, just willing to serve and learn.
How it works
- You can volunteer from one week to over three months, fitted to your life.
- You live alongside locals and take part in daily life: play, teaching, practical work and shared devotions.
- We help you with planning, programme and preparations before you travel.
- You can also volunteer at home in Norway, for example at events and with Rejoice Always.

Support the ministry
Support our missionaries
Julie and Kristine go out as volunteers and missionaries for Rejoice Outreach. Julie has served full-time in Indonesia, and Kristine will be there for one year from 2026/27. They live and serve alongside locals in Bali and Rote.
Gifts go into a dedicated support account used to cover mission trips and stays in the field, so the work can continue.
