Business as Mission (BAM)
Business as mission: work that gives dignity, security and an open door for the gospel.
What is BAM?
Business as Mission means running a real business that is at the same time part of the mission. The business creates jobs and income for local families, and lets us meet people with care and with our faith.
We saw the need among local families without work. Even the children we teach English often come from broken families where the parents have no job, or where the mother has left and remarried. The background is the difficult economic situation.
Our BAM business
This is Lelola
That is why we are developing the business Lelola (lelola.no). It will provide safe, good jobs, especially for women who need work, and the products are planned to be developed further in Norway.
Creating and supporting local jobs is one of the five goals of Rejoice Outreach.
